Personal information we collect
When visiting our site we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies that are already on your device. Additionally, as you browse the site, we collect information on the pages you have viewed, and any search terms you entered into the search bar. We refer to this as device information. We collect device information using the following:

“log files” track actions occurring on the site, and collect data such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, exit pages and date time stamps.
“web beacons” tags & pixels” are electronic files used to gather information about how you use our website.

Additionally when you make a purchase or an attempted purchase through the site, we will collect information from you, including your name, billing and delivery address, payment information (credit card details) email address and phone numbers. We refer to this as order information.
What we do with information we gather.
We use the device information we collect to further improve and optimise our website. It helps generate analytics about how you browse and interact with our site, for example how long you spent viewing a certain page and through what channel you accessed our site.
We use the order information we gather to fulfil any orders placed with us, including processing your payment, organising the shipping and providing you with a VAT invoice and order confirmation. We will additionally use this information to communicate with you regarding your order. Your information will not be automatically added to any marketing tool, however you may be contacted asking if you wish to be informed of future product launches/special offers.
Sharing your personal information.
We will never sell your information or pass it on to organisations that are not providing a service to Drainage365 Limited. We share your information with organisations that require it in order to provide the service we have requested. For example, we use DX and Hub Logistics to transport the goods you have ordered. To carry out our request they will require your name, address, email and phone number.

We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable law and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information, or otherwise to protect our rights.
As mentioned above we may make contact with you using the information you provided when placing an order, our aim is to secure your permission so you can be included in future product lunches and/or special offers. We use Mailchimp marketing platform to distribute our email campaigns. Your name and email address is stored on servers at their data centre.
We promised that if you opt in to our marketing campaign we will only ever send you a maximum of two marketing emails per month. You may also receive flyers/product guides via Royal Mail.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. When you place an order with us online, we will retain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. We cannot delete information imputed on our accountancy software for VAT reasons.
